We were put in a late all the way to left. That really ticked me off and put me in a bad mood. I simply asked him for the price again since I didn’t know the price before hand. Listen, just because your other employee made a mistake with another customer, does not mean you can take your anger out on me. When I confronted him about the price again, he gave me an attitude and started calculating the price to me as if I couldn’t count. So when I gave him a $ 20 after hearing the price, he gave me a different change. I didn’t know the price for the games nor for rentals so I asked for two games and rental shoes.
My friends got a groupon deal so they already had their tickets purchased. Overall, I would come here if I had another deal, but I would prefer a bowling alley with less people and noise and where I didn’t have to get wanded.ĭon’t think I’ll ever come back to this place. On the plus side, I tried their fries (I can’t say no to French fries) and they were fresh. I also didn’t like how we had to share a bowling ball return with the lane next to us because the area felt crowded. The equipment seemed a little worn because a few times our ball got stuck and we had to use another ball. In addition, managed to find a size XS six on ball which was nice. I am a size 6 and the shoes seemed a little worn (different colored laces and scuffed), but other shoes in other sizes seemed newer. There was about a thirty minute wait and five people ahead of us. I was a little bit taken aback by the amount of people at the bowling alley and getting wanded by a metal detector device prior to entry. It was difficult to find street parking so we just parked in the shopping center parking lot. Players and league members all say hello.I came here on a Saturday night with a living social deal for four people, shoe rentals, and two games per person for $ 35. Not flashy aside from a small handful of arcade games near the entrance (which are great), it's a classic bowling alley with friendly, helpful staff, and perfectly functional lanes - which is more than some other alleys around the city. Nicholas: Our favorite bowling alley in NYC, hands down. They had a great time and loved the food.
